The Kwanza Jones & José E. Feliciano Initiative, founded by Kwanza Jones and José E. Feliciano, is a high-impact philanthropic grantmaking and investment organization and family office. Our goal is to Power Possibilities That Boost Humanity and its Future by focusing on Education, Entrepreneurship, Equity, and Empowerment.

Jones•Feliciano focuses on creating lasting impact in four key areas - education, entrepreneurship, equity, and empowerment - as providing access to capital in these areas leads to greater and more equitable advances and societal progress.

At Jones•Feliciano, we know that the advancement of society starts with education. We believe that in order to move the needle forward the focus must be two-fold: access and quality. For that reason, we are passionate about supporting a variety of Universities both through endowments, as well as direct donations. In the Fall of 2018, Kwanza Jones donated $1,000,000 to Bennett College, one of the country’s oldest Historically black colleges, to help them continue to serve and educate women of color. Shortly after, Jones•Feliciano announced an endowment to Stanford University on behalf of the Stanford Latino Alumni Association, in order to improve the diversity of their Graduate School of Business. Jones•Feliciano has also made donations to Princeton University. In addition to Universities, Jones•Feliciano has supported organizations that provide educational opportunities such as Neighborhood Youth ASSN.

Jones•Feliciano is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs whose ideas have the power to change the landscape in fields like research and tech. By supporting companies like Ulu Ventures, Box Union, United Way and Act One, we help entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and experiences execute their ideas.
